Public Project: Solid Waste Transfer Facility Improvement
Description
The Solid Waste Facility is expanding the existing building by approximately 13,000 square feet to expand the tip floor area where commercial vehicles unload recycled materials. A new access internal roadway, approximately 1,400 feet in length, allows for the separation of varied vehicles on the tipping floor. Construction of two new truck scales, a new exit by-pass lane, and repairs to the existing truck scales and scale houses will be made.
