Description

A new facility has replaced the 100-year old Silver Spring Fire Station #1. The new Class III facility includes a new police sub-station and facilities for the Silver Spring Urban District. In addition to the facility, the site includes surface parking spaces, streetscape improvements, and space allocated for the Capital Crescent/Metropolitan Branch Trail and Purple Line (Bi-County Transitway).
