Description

This property is located at Skylark and Newcut Roads, in the Newcut Road Neighborhood. These amendments propose to 1) add standards for building heights and setbacks; 2) modify street designs to respond to Fire and Rescue Service requirements; 3) modify street and stormwater management facility grading; 4) modify other intersection and street operation designs; 5) revise conditions of construction of pool complex; and 6) make other detailed design changes for individual lots or areas.

Planning Board Review Process & Case Number

Planning Board Action

The Preliminary Plan (No.1-02033) was approved in March 2002 and amended in November 2002. The original site plan for Phases 1 & 2 (No. 8-02036) was approved in September 2002. The original site plan for Phases 3, 4, and 5 (No. 8-04022) was approved in July 2004. The Site Plan for Phases 1 & 2 (No. 8-02036A) was amended in June 2005. The Planning Board recommended approval of Development Plan Amendment DPA-04-03 in November 2004.

On March 30, 2006, the Planning Board held a Threshold and Compliance Hearing and a Plan of Correction Hearing. The item was deferred. There was a discussion concerning the lack of height standards for the multifamily and townhouse units.

On June 8, 2006, the Planning Board approved a corrective order establishing development standards for 32 dwelling units located in the Phase 1 and 2 of Greenway Village. This action will allow the release of building permits for the 32 units by the Department of Permitting Services. Please click here for Staff Report. The Board also approved a site plan amendment establishing development of standards for phases 3, 4, and 5. On June 22, 2006, the Planning Board approved a site plan amendment establishing development standards for phases 1 and 2.
