Trendsheets
The Center for Research & Information Systems identifies and tracks demographic, household and economic trends to help inform planning and other projects throughout Montgomery County. These detailed statistics help us identify and analyze changes in the County's population, housing, economy, development, commercial space and the workforce. Researchers also track trends in similar jurisdictions around the region and nation, putting the data in context and providing real-world comparisons.
Beginning in spring 2010, the Planning Department has released a series of trendsheets providing at-a-glance indicators of Montgomery County’s changing environment. Knowing the people who live in Montgomery County and how they live helps policy makers be fully informed as they make decisions that shape the future.
