Montgomery County Historic Preservation Tax Credit
2007 County Preservation Tax Credits in Review
The Montgomery County Historic Preservation staff reviewed 98 county historic preservation tax credit applications for 2007, representing nearly $2 million of investment in our county’s historic resources and districts. The Historic Preservation Commission approved all eligible applications in July and August 2008. The HPC’s recommendations were transmitted to the County Director of Finance for approval. The credits will be assigned before the end of the calendar year.
All those who applied received letters notifying them of their approved credit amount in September 2008. Special thanks to all who invested in our important historic places over the last year. We look forward to working with you on future projects.
