to the Master Plan for Historic Preservation
Planning Board: Public Hearing and Work Session
On Sept 24, 2009, the Planning Board held a public hearing to evaluate whether three historic resources merited designation in the Master Plan for Historic Preservation. The Planning Board recommended the designation of the Greenwich Forest Historic District, the Bureau of Animal Industry Building, and the Higgins Family Cemetery, and took action to add all three to the Locational Atlas and Index of Historic Sites. The County Council will consider the amendment in 2010.
