Description

This 45.24-acre property is located at the northern edge of the Transit Corridor District and directly adjacent to the Clarksburg Historic District at the southwest quadrant of MD 355 and Stringtown Road. The proposed Site Plan Amendment would adjust footprint and grades, delete and revise retaining wall, modify curbs, emergency access, and reduce units from 292 to 284 (27 single-family detached, 171 single-family attached, and 88 multi-family units).

Planning Board Action

Preliminary Plan No. 1-02048 was approved on July 18, 2002. Site Plan No. 8-03023 as approved on July 24, 2003. On July 20, 2006, the Planning Board voted to accept the applicant's request for deferral. See the Staff report below:

On December 14, 2006, the Planning Board held a public hearing on this Amendment. The Planning Board voted not to take action on the Amendment and to continue the discussion on January 11, 2007. This item was postponed. See the Staff Repor.

On January 18, 2007, the Planning Board approved the Site Plan Amendment.
